About theArtist
My name is Evelyn, or Evie, Italiano and I am a student majoring in the field of fine arts at Webster University; I am aiming for a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Illustration while my expected graduation date will be in May of 2027. The work I create includes characters or scenes with carefully thought color palettes intended for the expression of emotions or fictional situations. For instance, using a color palette with a wide variety of brightly saturated hues to represent the adrenaline of riding on the back of a creature in the clouds or an analogous color scheme of cool blue and violet hues to represent the tranquility of the moon shining on the ocean. After all that I have experimented with artistic mediums, I have always believed that colors hold a mysterious ability to present the hidden energy and spirit of any artwork.

​ When I am not fulfilling assigned projects, you can always find me at my home creating new personalized artworks and crafts along with writing excerpts for stories. Artist Biography
Evelyn Italiano is an illustrator and mixed media artist from Imperial, Missouri. She graduated with an Associate’s of Fine Arts degree from Jefferson College while additionally earning a Cum Laude roll from her student career while she is presently aiming for a BFA with an Emphasis in Illustration at Webster University. Ever since she was a child, Italiano became enthralled with storybook development and when she grew older, she became intrigued with science fiction, fantasy,
adventure, and thrillers because of their fictitious and wondrous elements. Italiano’s works mainly include theming of real or imaginary animals, profoundly saturated color palettes as well as collaging analog media with found objects, seashells, miniature toys, fabric and broken jewelry. Italiano prefers to create her work for children or young adults as well as science fiction and fantasy enthusiasts because she hopes to create new realms of imagination for her audience to escape to.
